Founded in 2022 by Ben Ganley, former CEO within the Al Khorafi and Lootah family office groups and an alumnus of Deloitte and Lend Lease, Ben brings 25 years of experience in forming, launching and scaling new ventures across the GCC.
Black Oaks real estate strategy aligns with the Dubai 2040 Urban Masterplan, anticipating significant population growth and de-centralization of the city to provide UAE residents with a sense of place & connection close to home.
Black Oaks takes its name from the native Black Oak trees that grow on Ben’s family property 'The Oaks' in the Flinders Ranges of South Australia. The brand draws on this landscape — resilient, grounded, and enduring — as a metaphor for the firm’s approach to strategy and execution.
